Three-Year Deal

Tottenham Hotspur have announced a new three-year partnership with Sportsbet.io, naming the sportsbook as the club’s Official North America & Africa Betting Partner from the 2026/27 season.

The agreement will see Sportsbet.io and Tottenham work on digital content and fan engagement initiatives aimed at supporters across the two regions, as well as the club’s wider international fanbase.

For Sportsbet.io, the deal continues a long-running association with Premier League football. The sportsbook has previously partnered with Watford, Southampton, Newcastle United and Aston Villa, giving the brand an established presence around English football.

Tottenham confirmed the partnership on September 14, with the club stating that the agreement will operate in line with applicable regulations and football’s Code of Conduct for Gambling Related Agreements.

Tottenham is splitting its betting partnerships by region

The Sportsbet.io agreement is part of a wider regional approach to betting partnerships at Tottenham rather than a single sportsbook deal covering every international market.

In August, Spurs announced a separate three-year agreement with VSbet, naming the operator as the club’s Official Regional Betting Partner for Asia. That partnership is focused on regional marketing, digital content and fan engagement across Asian markets.

Tottenham also signed a three-year agreement with Betano in July. Betano is an Official Partner of the men’s first team during the 2026/27 season, before the arrangement changes and the brand becomes Tottenham’s Official Betting Partner in Europe and Latin America through to 2029.

That leaves Sportsbet.io covering North America and Africa, VSbet focused on Asia, and Betano set to take the Europe and Latin America betting designation after the current season.

Sportsbook Profile

Who is Sportsbet.io?

Sportsbet.io launched in 2016 and operates an international sportsbook and casino with support for cryptocurrency payments.

The brand has an established history in English football, having previously partnered with Premier League clubs including Watford, Southampton, Newcastle United and Aston Villa before adding Tottenham Hotspur in 2026.

Its relationship with Southampton included a three-year extension announced in 2021 that the club described at the time as its biggest sponsorship agreement, with an option for certain performance bonuses to be paid in Bitcoin.

What will the Sportsbet.io and Tottenham partnership include?

Neither Tottenham nor Sportsbet.io has announced a detailed activation schedule yet, but the club says the partnership will focus on digital content and fan engagement for supporters in North America and Africa, as well as its wider international audience.

That wording is important. This is a regional betting partnership rather than a traditional front-of-shirt sponsorship, and the announcement does not suggest that Sportsbet.io branding will replace any of Tottenham’s existing primary shirt partners.

Sportsbet.io does have experience with more prominent Premier League sponsorships. The brand previously appeared on Southampton’s shirts, with the two sides also running fan-focused campaigns during their partnership.

For Tottenham, the new agreement gives the club a betting partner specifically assigned to two major international regions while keeping its other regional sportsbook agreements separate.

Exactly what supporters will see from the partnership should become clearer as Sportsbet.io and Tottenham begin activating the deal during the 2026/27 season.

CSL Take

The CSL Take

Sportsbet.io’s Tottenham deal continues a relationship with Premier League football that now stretches across five clubs, but the regional structure of this agreement is arguably the more interesting part of the story.

Tottenham now has different betting partners assigned across major international markets, with Sportsbet.io taking North America and Africa.

For Sportsbet.io, Tottenham adds another globally recognised football club to its sponsorship history. We’ll be watching to see how the partnership develops during the 2026/27 season.
