Rather than publishing one fixed list of qualifying fixtures for the entire season, 500 Casino announces a selection of featured matches for each game week. The rewards attached to those matches can also change, so bettors need to check the current offer rather than assuming the conditions from a previous week still apply.

This Week’s Rewards

For the August 29 – September 4 game week, 500 Casino has introduced two different reward conditions. One provides insurance if a seemingly comfortable lead turns into a loss, while the other increases the payout when a selection wins convincingly and scores early.

What We Think of This Week’s Rewards

The two rewards available this week are quite different, and we think that’s part of what makes the opening offer interesting.

The bet insurance covers a fairly extreme way to lose. Having your selection lead by at least two goals at half-time and still lose the match isn’t something we’d expect to happen particularly often. However, if it does, getting the entire stake refunded plus a $40 free bet is a substantial consolation.

It’s worth remembering that this isn’t general two-goal lead insurance. Your selection specifically needs to be ahead by at least two goals at half-time before going on to lose, so the circumstances required to trigger the reward are quite narrow.

The double winnings offer is probably the one we’re more interested in analysing across this week’s five matches. A selection needs to win by at least two goals and score during the first 10 minutes of either half, meaning simply finding the strongest favourite isn’t necessarily enough.

There could be opportunities where a team’s attacking record, opposition and available odds make the promotion particularly interesting. We’ll be looking at that when we cover selected game weeks in more detail.

Most importantly, we wouldn’t place a bet purely because it qualifies for the promotion. The price and underlying bet still need to make sense. If we already like a qualifying selection, that’s when the possibility of double winnings or additional protection becomes a useful extra.
